About Orthodox Integrity
Orthodox Integrity is an independent editorial platform covering Serbian history alongside canonical governance and transparency within the Serbian Orthodox Church. It publishes in English and Serbian.
The publication documents a record. Its work rests on primary sources: episcopal acts, diocesan communiqués, governing statutes and rulebooks, court filings, and the canonical tradition of the Orthodox Church. Where claims are contested, they are reported as contested and attributed to the source that made them.
The editorial posture is reportorial first and analytical second. Articles aim to read as documentation rather than commentary, landing their point through factual selection and arrangement rather than through rhetoric. The standard is simple: the truth, stated plainly, requires no embellishment.
Method
The editor's background is in history: archival research, provenance, and the discipline of separating record from narrative. That training governs how this site works. Claims are traced to the original document wherever one exists, rather than to whoever repeated the claim most recently. Where the documentary record is thin, incomplete, or genuinely contested, that is stated plainly rather than papered over with a confident-sounding sentence.
